Calling the uk from Argentina

Anonymous
Not applicable
I’ve been trying call the uk from my iPhone and all calls have failed. I have tried using +44 and 0044 ahead of the uk number, dropping the first zero but all calls have failed. I’m on o2 travel so shouldn’t have any issues calling out. My husband’s phone works using exactly the same process for dialling so I have no idea why I have an issue making calls?

You need to check with customer service to see if there is a roaming bar on your phone

Hi @Anonymous You could also try manually searching for another network.

Also, do you make the call from your contact list or dial manually.? I find, when abroad, numbers dialled from your contact list generally connect. Sometimes dialling them manually fails.

You could also take your sim out, gently clean it and reinsert. Reboot the phone and see if you can connect and make calls then...

Just a few things to try....
