Bill overdue but they didn’t take DD??

Hi, o2 sent me a message to say my bill was overdue for this month, it should have been taken today by DD but they haven’t taken it and now are telling me I’m overdue. Has anyone else had this and why wouldn’t they have taken the DD as it’s showing active on my banking, so confused as this has never happened 😞

Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

Yes I know that, I haven’t rang them yet I just wanted to know if it had happened anyone else and should I go onto the account and just pay manually?

Check your bank, if the DD failed then make a manual payment.
