Anyway I got the big bungle pay as you go in post and I just wanted to know if you top up £10 will they actully take that £10 away and not saved onto the phone credit? Like they use to before all this payg go go and othe deals. As I do tend to use up the tariff quickly and would like to use that £10 as a back up...

You could ask cs if they will put you on to "O2 Basic" tariff.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

There is not set criteria...You get an sms offering the option. They are sent by marketing , so there isn't really anything you can do to get "the invitation"....Sorry!

You can contact customer care and ask them to remove the Big Bundle tariff. So you can use it as normal Pay n Go

I have never understood this 'being invited' business actually.

We have had customers on here that are on that tariff and no-one 'invited' them.

My son is on it...He chose it when he asked what the options were......
