Got a phone call from O2 saying I could have another phone, I explained I was just building up bad credit and had only been with 02 a month, the sales advisor said no problem because I already have an account, so asked if I could have a iPhone 6 for my son. After hour on phone got told i could have an iPhone 6s 50.00. A month on refresher. Then said I could have an iPhone 6 43.00 but had to have 2 yr contract, anyway after all the promises I got told i needed to pay 300.00 upfront as for credit check after jus being told i didn't need to pay anything, complained online and even have the screenshots as proof as a promise I would get phone I wanted for my son and the way I was treated was not the way O2 do it etc, 'you will definitely have a phone with no deposit that you want for your son" guess what they wanted to do another credit check which would of been same, then the ombudsman thought I was not happy because of credit check, i said I was honest at beginning, the fact your sales people are promising phones without giving the subject to credit check is diabolical and promising me a phone I wish because the advisor has put it in my notes that they said I could have phone is bad salesmanship, ombudsman offered me £20.00 off next bill didnt even acknowledge screenshots and said my views will be sent to right department, am absolutely disgusted and putting me off staying with O2 after contract has finished
