My wife has an iPhone 4 running ios 7.1.2. Each time she makes, or receives a call or text, she gets a message from o2 telling her how much credit she has left. If she does not dismiss this message, she cannot receive any more calls.
How can she get rid of this VERY ANNOYING message ?

Hi @Anonymous
One of two ways...she can turn off balance notifications on her phone....or contact O2 customer services to ask that they stop them..http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

She needs to call customer service to get the notification texts switched off. Live chat may be able to help.

From memory the only way to turn them off is to ring payg customer service and ask for balance notifications to be turned off. Ring 4445 from the handset or try live chat

I actually mentioned turning them off via phone as I was able to 'back in the day'...
I used a Motorola and it was 4 years ago....No problem. I wasn't certain with the iphone.. hence gave two choices

Yes, these days only customer service can switch them off on the system.

You can't turn them off on an iPhone. Only by calling or using live chat will solve it
