Age restriction

I’ve only just realised I’ve got age restriction access on my phone. I’ve had a contract with 02 since I was 18, and am 25 now! I don’t own a credit card so I can’t phone up, and obviously the stores are currently closed due to covid-19. I’ve sent a message to 02 via messenger but it appears they’re prioritising those who are vulnerable or have connection issues.

Is there another solution regarding proving your age whilst there’s no stores open?

You would need to contact O2. Numerous numbers in this guide.

0800 587 4005 seems to work well in getting an advisor with minimum wait.

And lifting bars or restrictions is seen as an Essential service, don't be fobbed-off when they answer your call, @Gem3 :

thanks for the number suggestion. Got through to customer services within 15 seconds. A two minute phone call and the restrictions were lifted! Smiley Happy
