Unfortunately most of thse scams are a result on clicking on a link (usually social media sites) and O2 aren't responsible for the charges as they are merely passing on their charges from these rogues.
You need to complain via http://psauthority.org.uk/ and look up the short code, call their customer service number and ask them to remove your number frrom their data base and ask for a refund for the charges. Looking up the number gives these details :
