Just seen this https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go/ might be some help to some one

To get 50% extra data on top of your standard Big Bundle tariff allowance for two months you will be entitled to 50% extra UK data on top of your standard data allowance as follows:

£10 Big Bundle= 250MB extra in addition to 500MB standard; £15 Big Bundle = 500MB extra in addition to 1GB standard; £20 Big Bundle = 1GB extra in addition to 2GB standard; or £25 Big Bundle = 2GB extra in addition to 4GB standard (each an “Extra Allowance”).

If you are a New Customer you will receive the Extra Allowance automatically when you top up. If you are an Existing Customer or a Switching Customer you will need to: opt into the Promotion by texting “BIG50” to “2424” prior to the expiry of the Promotion Period; and renew your Big Bundle within 30 days of opting in.

The easy way to check is to log into http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and see if they are available to you or not.

They won't show on mine because all are unlimited mins anyway.

Hi all posted above  ^  ^  ^

My contract I think runs out late May next year

Pretty sure, when I got my 1st smartphone I rationalised everything including paying off my old little Nokia phone

If I go uptown to the O2 shop will they be able to help me ?

Log into your my o2 on laptop and look at the tariff and bolt ons section.
This will tell you what you can add to your tariff or change your tariff to.

We thought that might be PAYG only and that message does confirm that.

After all the hassle people have contacting O2, I choose not to ring them over my needing more minutes to 'the end of the month'

The people in Skipton's O2 shop have all been fine with me, even when I've gone into the shop with daft simple problems

I have confidence they will sort it out for me tomorrow (fingers crossed)
