I too have my 3G back. Really not impressed as needed the data connection earlier as i was travelling around on trains.......I will be seeking compensation for the lack of data coverage today. Used to be impressed with O2, not sure what is going on lately but things have gone wayward for them. So no data, missed a key text and i pay through the nose for a deal that gives me less data compared to some others

Highly unlikely that will happen, there might be a goodwill gesture offered but they aren't obliged to.

Update 23:45hrs

The intermittent problems experienced by some of our customers today have now been resolved.

Routine upgrade work on our 2G and 3G networks led to unexpected congestion affecting around 1% of O2 customers. We apologise to those customers and thank them for their patience.
