I currently have an O2 pay monthly contract and want to use my sim card in a different phone (currently Huawei and want to use in a Samsung A51).

I can't find any information on my O2 about whether or not my contract is sim only and so don't know whether I can use it or not in a different phone.

Help much appreciated!

Hi @ZRS

You can use your sim in any phone if it fits. It doesn't matter what contract you are on, the payment will be unchanged.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum Welcome

Hi!

Yes very helpful thank you slight_smile

Just concerned that I won't be able to use the sim as not sure whether my current phone is locked and my current sim unusable in any other phone - I bought my Huawei in November 2019.

Want to be sure I can use my sim in a new phone before buying one!

@ZRS O2 stopped locking phones in 2018. You can use your sim in any phone you choose, as @Cleoriff has advised.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@ZRS

O2 have been selling their phones unlocked since 2018 so you should be fine.
