Bundle Top ups

If I go pay as you go and choose the Bolt on Plan where I have to Top up Monthly, what happens if I am out of the Country for 3 months and cannot too up?? Does my SIM gets deactivated??Can I continue with the Too ups after 3 months??

Just recently topped up big bundle £30 and now Hotspot doesn’t work for me on any of my devices. Have reset networking settings, restarted devices and reset password and still not working. Am on Prepaid, what has changed with O2???
