Can somebody clarify for me the following question. I have a O2 Classic PAYG sim and when I was recently in Spain I could make calls and send texts as per EU roaming but I couldn't use any data. I had roaming turned on and made sure all my phone settings were okay. I called customer service and they told me I had to have O2 Travel turned on at £1.99 per 100MB. Why can I not use my normal PAYG charge of 1p per MB?
Thanks

When in EU you can use your UK allowances or pay the same rates as you do in the UK.
If you were not getting data you should manually search for a different network as some don't allow data on roaming sim cards or may be having temp issues.
