Hello, so I'll try and explain best I can. I have always had my phone to select my network automatically, however the past few weeks I've had trouble making calls and sending texts. I read a few troubleshooting ideas telling me to select manually, so I selected 02 4g which worked for a few days. I got home last night and now 4g isn't working either, I've never had this trouble before. I've done a status check and everything is fine. My husbands on 02 and has no issues so its definitely something my end.

Thank you all.

O2 acknowledge there have been issues for some people's phone's ability to hold a connection to O2's network - tagging @Dave-O2 who will be in touch later this morning, hopefully, @Kelly1221 - meantime, keep rebooting the phone to see if the issue has been resolved for you. Many have been affected in the last few days.

Afternoon @Kelly1221

To confirm do you have zero service or is this intermittent?

Also, do you have an eSIM?

If you do not have an eSIM @Kelly1221, you have not got the fault that many others were experiencing.

Start off by having a look at :-

My Network App - Find Out More About Your Network Coverage | Apps | O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

Understand your network coverage

With the My Network app you can keep an eye on your coverage, wherever you are. Download the app and you’ll be able to:

- check the status of our network in your area – you don’t even need to enter your postcode

- test your network speeds

- report any issues with your service.

It’s simple to use and means that you can check the network without having to visit the main site or even enter a postcode.

And then try some of the tips herein :-

Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Guide: Is the network down for me or everyone?

Good luck. 👍

Was never likely to be an esim issue if posted correctly in PAYG?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
