Sim swap not working

I have just purchased a pay monthly sim only sim for my partner and trying to keep her existing pay as you go O2 number. The sim swap service is not working. I have been trying every day for the past week to get the sims to swap numbers, I receive the messages stating it is going to process and to wait 24 hours yet nothing is happening and I am no essentially paying a contract for a sim that is of no use. I cannot get in contact with customer services as the automated chat will not allow me to get through. Quite frankly if this cannot be completed soon I will cancel the contract and move to another network.

Try the numbers in this article. You can select any option till you get in, like theft/ lost device.

You need to call to move a number from Pay as you go to pay monthly.
Use any of the options on the numbers in the link given already @Bryan1.

You will need a different sim. PAYG and Contract sims are configured differently.

Call as advised above.

I already have the sim only contract sim so I do not need a different sim. They sent that out the day after I ordered it. Thank you for the advice on numbers to try above

Try the number ending in 4005. It worked well for me yesterday wink
