I have an old payg phone which lives in the car and is used for emergencies only. I am now getting the above error message, which I think means I have been disconnected due to lack of use and needs Customer Support intrervention to re-register.

However, Customer Support appear to have been shut down due to the virus - any idea how I can resolve this, please ?

Many thanks,

bob977

Hi MI5,

Many thanks for the prompt response. I know I need to contact Customer Services to get my phone re-activated but, unfortunately, none of the numbers I have tried (including the one in the guide) is being answered. I just get a recorded announcement saying they are very short-staffed at the moment (obviously !) and then get cut off. Also the chat function has been suspended. Have you (or any 02er) got a number that definitely works at the moment, please ?

Or any other ideas for how I can solve my problem ?

Thanks !

All of these numbers are in the guide linked above:
0800 902 0217
0344 809 0202
0800 032 1402
0800 977 7337
0800 587 4005
0800 090 1808

If it is an 0800 number you should be able to call it using Skype for free.
