I have inserted a 'Fully Loaded' iPad SIM 5G, but it doesn't function - I can't get mobile broadband. I tried to register the mobile number of the new  iPad SIM but the response was that it would send me a message or code to this new number and I'm not receiving it in my iPad messages, so I cannot register and gain access to my 5G. - I also have an iPhone 6s and my messages to that number continue to also appear on my iPad, so I don't know if that is the reason. Help!

To start you will only get 4G on an iPad no Apple device as yet supports 5G.

iPads on o2 dont support Text Messaging, so the best option is to speak to customer service via the numbers on https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

You may also find that live chat becomes available , a pop up will appear on screen.
