O2 has no control over where you are and what the signal strength might be in that area. You aren't entitled to a refund on that basis. It is not your 'right'. Read the Terms & Conditions. You're certainly entitled to ask for a refund, but your chances are slim and none.

Are you an O2 staff member? Maybe you're used to such the clause, but I'm not. I have the right to get back money that I didn't use, that's my right. I have received refunds from giffgaff before and they are very efficient. Maybe that's why O2 is unpopular.
