Can anybody help, I took advantage of the offer to upgrade my iphone to the new smasung S20 +5g, looks a nice phone but i hate it, can I put the sim back into my old iphone, is that possible ?

Have you tried the old sim in your phone?

Also have you already used the new phone? If so you can return it under the change of mind policy?

Yes you can put the sim back in your iphone but your new contract carries on as before, still paying the device plan as well as airtime. You need to return the S20 if under 28 days as a change of mind.
