You can't get a refund, however you can put it towards to new device. If you went for a new phone, O2 would transfer your credit to the new device or allow you to use it to buy one.
If you move away from O2 you lose any credit.
You can transfer the credit to an O2 contract if you upgrade but otherwise you will have to forfeit it.
You can either go instore and discuss your options or call O2 on any of the numbers in this guide
