Hi @zippy2 your SIM card would have been disconnected years ago and your number reallocated by now so it's very unlikely.

You could try calling customer services but a new SIM and new number is your likely only option.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@zippy2 O2 will not send a Pay & Go sim to you in the US. You will have to go into an O2 store and purchase one when you arrive.

You should also check to see if the phone you're currently using is compatible with the O2 network. https://willmyphonework.net/ If your current phone is on Verizon or Sprint it won't be.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

It has to have some sort of activity to keep the sim active so you would have to get a new sim which you can order for free.

Already advised. Though as said, O2 wont send a new sim to the US.
