My neighbours have the same problem.
We leave in Smallfield in Surrey (very close to Gatwick airport) and we keep loosing the signal.
Sometimes we get 1 bar other times its nothing at all.
And this has happend twice in the same month. Last time it lasted more than a week.
Its very annoying and no warning at all.
In all this has happend 3 time now...

At least you now know they're working on it.
I'm not sure how they could tell you in advance that a fault was about to occur though?

Good Afternoon,
I am new to the O2 Community and have just read the recent post regarding O2 coverage. I also live in Smallfield and have experienced the same coverage problems as other people. Infact have just tried to make a call on my phone and it is down again! I live and work in the area, I am on the road daily and rely on my phone, this is now becoming a real problem. Is there any news as to what is happening?
I am also currently experiencing problems with my phone in the car...... I drive a Toyota with their own Touch and Go satnav and hands free telephone system. I keep losing my connection in the car and when I am connected to a call there is a very bad echo resulting in losing the call all together. Toyota have check the system and have said it is fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem. (Galaxy S 111)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing that we can find out, it will be fixed as soon as possible, O2 don't want masts not working either I would imagine.

Hi,
Have you thought about using an alternative avenue such as ;
TuGo from o2.
WhatsApp or Viber.
These run off home wifi.
Alternatively do any other networks offer a stable service where you live, commute and work. If your not in a contract then you could port over to them and retain your number by asking for a PAC Code.
If you have thought about using these then my apologies.
