After my contract finished with O2 I started a new contract with a sim only contract for two phones .
It now transpires that O2 have continued to charge me for Insurance that I did not want or was informed about when talked into the sim only contract. I have been overcharged over £150 .
The response from so called customer services was that I had to separately cancel it ( even though I was out of contract ). I then tried to get both pac numbers so I could transfer over to another network, he would only give me one for one number.
Is it just me or is this the worst network for customer service!!

They are correct about the insurance that has to be cancelled separately. Many people come to the end of their contract but still want the phone insured. The two are not linked.
Can't comment on the PAC as I don't know the circumstances but if one is under contract it will need paying off

It is true that you should have cancelled the insurance yourself.

Why is it ? The Insurance was part of the contract package . By your ideology if I had of switched providers I would still have been paying O2 for Insurance and would have to cancel that separately, never ever had to do that with other providers !
As for the PAC been there done that , you have to ring customer services if more than 1 Sim in one account !
I have Two .

Sorry but they are its an add on. if the insurance was a different contract it should of been separately invoiced . Starting to think you work for 02 !

You didn't read the terms which state it is only cancelled when your billing with o2 ends, in this case it hasnt ended, so you are liable..
It is sold as a separate service, but you are billed by o2 on behalf of the insurance provider - Telefonica Insurance - O2 is the broker not the insurer
Taking pot shots at community member isn't the way forward, and unless they have o2 in there username they dont work for o2...
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Correct. It's not part of your contract. It's an extra add on.
