Week old iPhone 13 Pro here that can’t make calls or receive 2 step verification texts. Can receive incoming calls but all numbers are withheld (even though they aren’t withheld)

Problems started last week when I was setting my apps up on the new phone. Received the first few codes by SMS no problem, then they stopped coming through. After 24 hours they came through together at once, problem subsided for a few day, now they have stopped again.

Newest issue started this morning where I cannot make any outgoing calls - I am greeting with an instant ‘Call Failed’ Moreover, any incoming calls are all ‘Unknown’ numbers.

Apple support were outstanding - several diagnostics on the phone and concluded there are no issues with the phone itself, it’s in perfect order.

At the second time of trying, O2 have told me (vaguely) that there is an issue with iPhone users and their network. Advisor told me they are working to fix it but couldn’t commit to a timescale.

I’ve seen a few people post here with the same issues - make sure you ask for compensation for all the WhatsApp calls you’re probably making right now.

This has been a bug affecting numerous networks across the globe since IOS 15 was released, and Apple seem to be denying all knowledge that IOS 15 is a pile of rubbish and causing issues, in fact in Korea, the Regulator is investigating Apple for this...

o2 / Voda / EE & 3 should be forcing Apple to fix their Software  and stop using users as beta testers as well making sure this doesn't happen again...

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but O2 confirmed to me they have an issue on their end and are working on it.

I’ve just moved back to Apple so have no idea when iOS 15 launched. They need to get their ****** together too if that’s the case

Turning off 5g has helped others fix this issue.
