Hello, I hope someone can help me. I purchased a iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) 3rd Generation in Oct 2019 on a 48 month plan. Today randomly the charge port has stopped working. I’ve heard O2 offer 3 year warranty and wanted to know if that’s correct? Just paying another 2 years for a iPad Pro that’s not working seems abit extreme considering it’s a general fault.

I spoke to apple support and they said they only offer a 1 year manufacturers warranty and said they don’t repair, they only replace the iPad as it’s a sealed unit and it’s £587. They said due to this is a hefty amount, I should talk to the retailer / network company as they offer longer warranty’s and I said I purchased it through O2 and they said that O2 offers 3 years warranty.

Can someone help me with this please?

Regards,

Ryan

@Crawty

The 3 year warranty is a new thing on selected tariffs / devices so won't apply to you unfortunately.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they may be able to help you with this.

Thanks
