Since I updated my HTC one s to the latest jellybean update Google maps has not worked. I've seen on the net that other people have had this problem also, but I can't find a way to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ah yes, navigation is an issue with some phones on the latest release. I'd expect an update fairly soon. Sorry, I would have mentioned that earlier but I read it as the Map App not loading properly.

I would try clearing the maps cache and uninstall the updates first.....

You can't uninstall maps as its integral with the system. All you can do is uninstall updates. Try it like that before updating to the latest maps version. Are the other issues you've seen also on HTC phones? It maybe an issue with their software that will require an update to fix. Did you factory reset after upgrading?
