is there a way to check the sms messages sent to my data sim card withoutt he desktop software or a secondary phone?
I don't like the o2 software I prefer to use the default windows software - there's more clutter on my taskbar. I don't intend to receive a lot of sms messages. Just the odd one or two. Was wondering if I could log on via the web to my o2 account and check my messages.
1. Just tried running the o2 connection manager software and it was unable to connect as the windows software had "ownership" over the embedded sim slot on the laptop. It also corrupted the settings so the windows inbuilt connection software lost connnection.
2. Might just buy a pay as you go phone for £10 - the old ancient ones just for this purpose. But it's not convenient and a bit cumbersome. SO would prefer not to.
ANy other solutions?
