Hi all I'm having problems ripping my cd's on windows media player keep getting a error message saying that I dont have the right codecs but last week \It was working fine any idea's?

iPhone 15 plus 128Gb light pink & Apple watch series 9 pink (Celluar all with Vodafone slight_smile

Not very helpful in typical windows style....
It could be anything. Even a scratched or dirty disc.
I assume you've shut down and rebooted the PC?

I think we're gonna struggle to fix that remotely.
If you've associated the codecs correctly you shouldn't have any problems.
Is it every CD or just some?
Try one again that you've already ripped to see if it's a system update that's messed up.

Something's changed but only you know when it last updated or what has changed.
Any new programs or apps installed etc.
Roll back to a previous restore point when it ;ast worked may be the only way.....

Got it working by restetting pc but strange thing was when it asked me if I wanted to add proection to my music it wouldnt let me it was greyed out
