So I joined O2 recently and along with my plan I got a new phone, everything was going well, I’d transferred my old number from my old service provider with the PAC code and it was all sorted, but then I accidentally used my old SIM from my old provider which seemed to reset the whole PAC situation, so now I have a new number and I can’t change it back, both providers are saying they have technical issues when I try to ask for PAC codes. I’m also unable to call or text a single Contact in my list, it says the text is unable to be delivered. My data keeps turning on and off and my contact number for My O2 is still my old number. Can anyone help me solve this issue??

By single contact I mean only one person, but out of everyone in my list they’re the one I contact the most using text and call

Hi @Amelia-Lowe

You need to call O2 to sort this for you.

Call O2 using any numbers in this guide

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Also, press Fraud or Lost and Stolen if given that option.

@Amelia-Lowe

Using your old sim will not reverse the PAC process.

I'm guessing here, but are you using an iPhone?

If so, go to Settings >Phone >My Number and check your correct number is showing.

If not, edit it and save it, then restart your phone.
