I read that report @pgn (If its the one produced by Thomas Cook on customer complaints) Absoluely pathetic comments throughout.

Yeah - there is no emoji on here that conveys just how I feel about the whole balls that is being made of the so-called "will of the people". When did the people ever know what was best anyway? Cry

@pgn Your more than welcome.

I also read the report too, I was sat there laughing and thinking, really.  What is wrong with people.

Thanks for the reassurance. After reading the reports in UK press about older people complaining about there being too many Spaniards in a hotel in Benidorm, Spain, I really do wonder what's made everything go so ass-backwards.Horrified

So much anger, hate and hurt since that stupid referendum. cry

That! Ladies and Gentlement is one of the reasons I never will become workless (aswell as my fellow paramedics)! Because people are getting more and more stupid (aswell as helpless, but that's a different topic)!

@ComaChameleon

The report that @pgn was talking about was not aimed at just older people.

It was a compilation of complaints made by a wide ranging age group of Brits who travel abroad with Thomas Cook.

Here's a couple more of them. They show a complete lack of intelligence..

“On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don’t like spicy food.”

“It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair.”

(After standing up for older people, it's now time to meander back on topic....wink)

Love those comments @Cleoriff.
Just shows that no matter where you are you can find an idiot.

@Cleoriff

I know on what report he was talking about -  that's why I talked about people getting more stupid and not getting more old. Sadly there are stupid people in all age-ranges (and social groups).

The examples are... sad and funny the same time.

OT: Mostly old people are just helpless. Like granny xy, widow, is alone and doesn't know what to do in a specific situation, so they call us.

Yes @ComaChameleon in the UK we have a TV programme called '999 What's your Emergency?'

Their are many calls from the elderly, who are just lonely and want someone to talk to. Tragic really.
