My friend mentioned that o2 sometimes pay off your contract in order to switch over to their network however I am unsure if this is true or just hearsay.
I have just under a year left on my ee contract but I am hoping to move over to O2 as I was with them for years and was always happy with the service and my family are with O2 atm and I haven't known them have many problems.
Does anybody have any information about this? It would be greatly appreciated ☺

They would buy out you old contract to switch you to a new provider.
Proven false economy.

I don't know of anyone who actually does this these days but beware if you do find someone. Nothing is for free and you end up paying in some way.
