@Anonymous Do as @MI5 and @jonsie have advised. O2 will charge you for the time you've used.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Your PAC is unique to you - it doesn't matter which network you move to.

Is that correct?  I had understood that a number was unique to a network so that you couldn't use a vodafone generated number to port from O2 and vice versa

You misunderstand me.

The PAC you got from o2 can be used to port your number to any network. You do not need a PAC to specifically move from o2 to voda. The same PAC will work for EE or Three etc.

You cannot use an old Voda PAC to move your number from o2 - you must get a new one from the network that holds your number now.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
OnePlus 6 (O2 & Sfr), Z3 Tablet (Three UK), iPhone 8+ (EE)

Re: PAC codes

Ok thanks everyone - I can see I need to get a new o2 PAC - the problem is that they wouldn't give me one earlier as they said that the Vodafone was was still valid!

I misunderstood you too. I always thought you had to get a PAC from the network that has your number....

It can't be valid if your number is now with o2?
