O2 Open code

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I thought I would be entitled to this as I work for the NHS and have just bought out my old contract and upgraded to a new one.

However I'm now lead to believe that this applies only to 'O2 Refresh Contracts' and not Standard contracts.

Now I was never offered the opportunity to have one of these 'O2 Refresh contracts' so I'm a bit miffed as to why this is and why I might not be eligible for this discount.

Can anyone clear this up please?

Hi @Anonymous Yes it's only available for Refresh customers.  https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/O2-Open-amp-Friends-and-Family-discounts-How-to-sign-up/ba-p/1020172

If you are within the 14 day cooling off period then I would change contract asap http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/our-change-of-mind-policy

You can only get Refresh via o2 directly & not through a 3rd party. I believe the discount has to be applied for within the first 30 days of you taking out the contract

Where did you upgrade?
If it was directly with O2 it will be refresh but you cannot get refresh from anywhere else.
It's something you should have checked before going for what may have looked like a better deal unfortunately.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If it's a standard 24 month contract then I would think you got it through CPW or a 'trusted' partner.
