We are thinking of ceasing with our broadband supplier and wonder if a dongle would be a suitable replacement as we do not require a landline.  What do we need to have to use a dongle for our online use?

@STAMBRIDGELITE You need good indoor signal coverage in your local area. All the networks do mobile broadband, so you need to check who can give you the best signal.

Personally, I wouldn't rely on only one method of communication, especially at home. If a mast goes down, you're totally up the creek, but that's a decision only you can make for yourself.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
