Hello,
Firstly though my WIFI works, my mobile internet (3g) does not, at all, not sure why not.
Secondly I've been advised to go through the marketplace, but am unable as I get this message:
"Can't set up your account.
Sorry, you need to do this from your computer because your account indicated that you are a child. To perchase content from the Marketplace, go to zune.net or use the Zune software on your PC, and sign in with your Windows Live ID."
I'm 20 years old.
So I go get Zune, and sign in with my Live ID, which I've had for years on end. And get a request for my Parents Windows Live ID (shrug) they don't have one. My Dad is 67 and types with one finger, my Mum never touches a computer outside of work.
As this live ID is so old it is possible that once upon a time they made an account to varify me though something or other, but its long gone and forgotten to years of unuse, if it ever existed.
So how would I get around this? Is there a way to remove the parent ID? A way to get Live to understand that I'm not 13 anymore? (They do have my DOB after all...) Or should I use another account? Though it advises to use the one you got the phone with.
Solved! Go to Solution.
