My 3G isn't working

Anonymous

For roughly a week now my 3G service has been down and everyone I know that's on O2 has the same problem. I've looked at the O2 live network for my area and it says there's nothing wrong, I've looked at the planned maintenance list and there's nothing in my area. There is no explanation for the lack of 3G and it's just getting a bit silly now.

It's just kinda frustrating that it took a complaint to make them realise that they had a serious network problem

I agree but sometimes they need a kick up the backside to get things moving

Yes, I too live in Bridport and O2 telling me all is fine when it's not. Have also lost 3G for over a week now. Think I will switch to T-Mobile - using a T-Mobile dongle on a laptop with perfect 3G connection. O2 need to wake up!!  This could cost them customers.

Until people actually report a problem O2 may well not be aware of it. The more people who complain the better. At least the problem has now been acknowledged and hopefully rectified as soon as possible for you.

In the email they sent in response to my complaint they did try to stress the fact that they can't be aware of every problem all over the country at the same time, which is fair enough. The only reason it took them so long to find this fault was that no one made them aware of it until I was recommended the complaint service and told then there was an issue. I like O2, I've been with then for about 7 years and this little hiccup hasn't made me want to switch to someone else. No matter what phone company you're with, there's always going to be problems, that's just how it is
