Hello

I see O2 are selling preloaded Tablet SIM cards, 2, 8, 15 and 120GB.

Could I buy one of these to install in an unlocked mobile band router?

I am fed up with BT/Openreach promising superfast broadband and not delivering so would like to trial mobile broadband with O2, but as we live in a very rural location I need to know if mobile broadband works before I commit to a contract

Yes, the data cards will work as you described.

It's the sensible thing checking first

I would be inclined to get pre-loaded SIMs from the other three networks too for the purposes of comparison.
