Data usage in Europe

I pay for unlimited data etc but am unable to check the amount of data I am using while in Europe. I have received a first alert by text stating I have reached 50% of my 25gb restriction while roaming. My O2 still shows only my unlimited UK based usage. I have tried to contact O2 support unsuccessfully. Of course m phone estimates my usage but it is inaccurate as I have used free WiFi when available. What I really need is a way of checking regularly the amount of data I am using so I can avoid penalties. Why is this not possible? And why is O2 support so poor that I have to hopefully post this to the "community".

It can take up to 48 hours for your myo2 to update when abroad as O2 rely on getting the info sent back from the roaming network.

The safest and easiest way for you to check is to reset the data counter on you phone and check it that way.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
