I live in Armathwaite, Cumbria (CA4) and we have no reception to make any calls or send texts in the house and have to walk 5 minutes to make a call.

I have read about the collaboration with Vodaphone (my last provider) and wondered when this will occur to share services?

I used to be with Vodaphone (wish I had stayed as more coverage in Cumbria overall) and I had no problem using the network includng 3G in my home.

Any ideas please?

Thanks.

Try downloading the TuGo app. It uses your wifi to make & receive calls & texts out of your monthly allowance.

Looking at the status checker I was shocked to see that there seems to be no coverage at all in your area, the only upside being maintenance work to be carried out on the 23rd April.

I believe the masts are presently being upgraded for the Vodafone share.

The mast sharing should be in place everywhere at some point in 2015.

This is all part of the 4g upgrade on both networks.

The vodafone bolg is clearer than the o2 statements http://blog.vodafone.co.uk/2012/11/20/better-coverage-fewer-masts-your-complete-guide-to-our-network...

Hi.
I have an iPhone 5. We have wifi at the house. Is there a way of using that as an alternative? The broadband is with plusenet.
It's so frustrating that I can't use my phone to make calls.
Thanks
