Hi so I ordered an iPad to be sent to a store for pick up but I changed my mind on the order and so I rang customer services and they said I would have to wait 7 days for the store to send the iPad back to o2 and it has now been 8 days but on my o2 it says ready for collection so I am worried it hasn’t been sent back to o2 as it doesn’t say cancelled.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you

Call the store and ask them to return it.

Most stores only send returns once per week so it may just be waiting for them to send it back on that day.

Surely they should of marked it as cancelled after the 7 days was up as this is what customer services told me

O2 won't cancel it until it's returned to them and scanned back into the system.

Stores can't cancel regardless if what you were told.

I am a bit confused. On the email it said if I don’t pick it up after seven days it will be marked as cancelled and I’ll be refunded. I’m nearly up with the 14day cooling period does that mean I will be out of the cooling period if I have to wait for o2 to actually receive it or when they send it back will that be marked as cancelled

I just want to cancel in the cooling period so I don’t get charged further since I haven’t even picked up the device

You need to speak to customer services again and tell them you are cancelling @Summer58 .
