What does "In Call" mean

Anonymous
Not applicable

When I try to call my home landline from my mobile it does not ring, and a message saying "In Call" appears. Can anyone tell me what this means and how I can correct it.

I would guess someone is using the landline or the phone is off the hook.

Yes I can, and I have rung my landline from my mobile while in the same room as landline, so I know no-one is using it.

I have tested it by ringing my landline whilst in the house so I know it is not off the hook.

Try running a test on your landline here to eliminate it as a possible cause:
