Hi,
I have a Nokia phone running Windows and am an old fashioned pay as you go user i.e. I put money to money account when I need to and generally use little data, a small number of texts and few calls. I expect to use more when on holiday / days out. As I have random peak usage and usually spend less than £120 a year the moonthly pay and go tariffs are not for me. Over the last month I seem to have used up the balance on my phone very quickly and would like to check it. Is there any easy way of getting a summary of my usage or am I reduced to trawling through my calls and emails to work it out manually? Thanks Mary

Hi @Seraphina Go into My O2 and check out your usage there...http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Check the phone logs and text messages yourself and work out how many calls and texts you have sent since your last top up. Sometimes it is easy to forget (well, for me! :smileywink:) how long we have been on a call or whether the odd text has been sent as an MMS. At this stage it isn't worth the £10 charge and the 'up to 6 week' wait for the information.

I was checking and as @Seraphina spends £120 a year on payg top ups, she might be better with 12 month sim only tariff for £10 a month. 500mb data, unlimited texts and 500 minutes a month. Then access to My O2 would give all the sort of information required

Thank you everyone for your help and solutions. I will start with the manual check and then if that still doesn't make sense go for the data subject access request before asking O2 to explain.
I think I generally spend far less than £120 per annum and have peaks and troughs in my usage that means I might still need to buy extra in some months while in other months I would barely use the allowance and with no way to carry it forward.
