Nokia Lumia 1020 'preorder' accessory bundle

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hiya guys and gals.

I have a problem with my O2 store in manchester arndale.

I have had my phone now for at least 2 months; I preordered my phone on my birthday (14th Sept), but in that period of preorder and collection till now, I STILL have not had the accessory bundle given to me.

Yes its free....and why am I complaining.....but....they keep telling me that they are sorting it out, how hard is it to track this down for me???

I have spoke to Nokia, they said they cannot do anything. I have spoke to O2 over the phone, and they said its an 'in store promotion', so they couldn't do anything to help me.

Is there anyone else that hasn't received their 'pre ordered' accessory bundle??

Please reply and post suggestions to help me.

Two months is a long time to wait, I would raise a complaint to see if that helps:

I haven't even thought about bringing up a complaint. I keep expecting them to provide me with the good service I have had in the past. I guess when it gets to 2014. I'll have to take drastic actions.

The only action you can take is a complaint.

Have you spoken to the Store Manager.

And or their Area Manager (assuming that role exists)

So I went in store today, and spoke to the manager, long story short, they cannot get me the bundle as promised!! Ridiculous!!!

Instead they wanted to offer me £50 as a sorry. £50 as a sorry is a smack in the face!! I am so livid that I will now make a complaint about the store and their service.

And to think I am still gonna stick with O2. Talk about not getting what was promised!!

Depends on the value of the bundle I guess, you might do better with a complaint.

They said that I would be able to get £50 to get the accessory bundle as it was 'slashed in price'. But I have had a look online, and it is still gonna cost me at the very least £110 to get everything!!

I just sent a complaint to O2. I just hope they are able to take the matter further.

I just don't understand, why promise the accessory bundle when you cannot deliver???

Just an error I would say but I'm sure they'll make it up to you.

Let us know how you get on.

You have the option to use the Ombudsman if you can't reach agreement.

I certainly hope so. Wish I didn't preorder from O2 now that all this has happened!
