Nokia Lumia 1020 Accessories - Different Colours!!!

Hi O2 Community

 

I am the proud owner of the Nokia Lumia 1020. When I open the box with my £150 worth of free accessories, I received:

 

  •  A Black Camera Grip
  •  A Yellow Wireless Case, and
  •  A White Wireless Charger Pad.

I chose the black Nokia Lumia 1020 and would like black accessories to go with it.

 

Has anyone else have the same experience? Anyone living in the South-West London area and would like to exchange their black accessories for one of mine? lol.

I love the phone. I prefer Windows OS as I find it aesthetically pleasing and its very slick. There are a few things about the os that will get addressed in the nxt update, such as closing multitask windows from the viewer rather than having to press back to close them.

Yes - count me in too! same combination - it appears as though Nokia havesome colour-blind workers in the factory - though I'd have though even a colour-blind person could tell the difference between a black charging plate and a white one! What's the point of writing "black" on the accesory box, and then throwing in whatever happens to be at hand! Very poor performance from Nokia, and equally poor performance from O2 who don't seem to care, and certainly are not willing to do anything about it!

Toby - what would be even better would be for O2 to acknowledge that there is a problem, and show some willingness to do something about it. The response I got from support could be summarised as "it was a free gift, so tough!" The free gift was used as an enticement to those of us who pre-ordered - it ought to be supplied as described. (It was described as "worth £150", but if one of the main components is for all intents and purposes worthless (hands up anyone who would like to put a yellow charging cover on a black phone!), then the "free gift" is NOT worth £150. Unless O2 steps up to the mark and fixes this problem, I'll end up having to buy a black charging cover myself - strike £25 of value off the £150 gift!

I'm not too bothered about the white charging plate, but as you say there's no chance of me putting a yellow charging cover on the black phone.  I was planning on going into the store tomorrow night after work.  I've not been able to over the weekend.
