Lost Text message thread on my Nokia Lumia 920

Yesterday, I noted that a text message thread on my Lumia 920 had disappeared. All other threads from other sources are still there. To the best of my knowledge. I did not delete the thread. Can this thread be retrieved/restored?

2 days ago, while in a wifi area, I installed some upgrades to my Lumia 920. I noted at the time that as part of the process, data was migrated. Is it possible that the text message thread was saved to the cloud? If so, how do I access this?

Anything on your Skydrive will be here https://www.windowsphone.com/en-gb/my although I don't think it backs up SMS you could take a look to see.
