How to replace damaged SIM

I've got a simple phone, not a Smartphone. It longer receives texts, tried it on 2 handsets, carefully wiped the SIM, done all of the usual things and can only conclude that the SIM is damaged.

I'm being chased round in circles, I can't see a 13 digit serial number on the back (just a much longer one on the front) and nobody is available on either live-chat or 202.

Apart from spending an hour going to a local 02 shop how can I contact them to send out a replacement please?

@Regblue

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202 / 4445, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
