We have purchased a Kidsnav Smartwatch for our son, who already has a mobile handset/contract. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a duplicate 4g sim in his smartwatch rather than the 2g sim it comes with? Does having the same sim simultaneously in 2 devices present any issues?

No you can't have duplicate sim cards or the same number on 2 simcards.

No UK network's offer this service. Each device has to have its own number.

Having a different number on the watch doesn't present any issues either.

The connection will likely be via bluetooth so the phone functions are mirrored on the watch.

The sim is really only to give data access for apps and if it only comes with a 2g sim, that's likely all it's capable of, which will be pretty rubbish in reality and not used.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Very much appreciated - thank you. Yes, the principle role of this particular watch is as a tracking device for parents, so its functionality is rather limited.
