How do I prepare my Android for Exchange/sale?

I have been looking at the Samsung A50 or A70

I would most appreciate advice on how best to

clean my phone which is  an Android Lumia 640 ready to hand in for exchange to Samsung.

I have removed all photos.

I have removed all contacts

I have removed all my email accounts

Any other advice would be most welcome too.

I think that the sim I have is larger than required for the Samsung phone

Maybe O2 shop could assist there?

There is an O2 Shop and a Samsung Store near to each other in Town.

Well hear goes. Prompted by post @TallTrees  i decided to find my nearest Samsung store not good though cant get Manchester this weekend.

So go on Samsung website earlier after googling around yesterday and trying to get A50 phone cheap.

Glad i did A50 phone ordered (case and protector ordered also from Amazon)

All being delivered tomorrow

Went on Samsung chat asked if A50 black phone was in stock.

Reply hang on while i check.

Came back all 4 colours in stock for free delivery tomorrow .

Me who is your courier him or her DPD .

Then get asked if i trading in my phone me i cant til i get new phone

Them that's ok you send phone back to us when you receive envelope in post and take to post office .

Them if you tell me phone i will tell you trade in price £100 followed by all you need do is order phone enter imei number and £100 will be deducted from final bill.

So i went through topcash back ordered black A50 put in imei number get £100 knocked off bill

1 x Galaxy A50
SM-A505FZKSBTU
£209.00
- £100.00

So thank you @TallTrees  a new phone tomorrow

Got £8-36 pending in topcashback if that gets paid phone will have cost me £200-64p

Why cant 02 be this simple ? Phone would have cost £170 more and trade in would have got diddly squat if that

Thats the page i using and it signs me in then i get signed out . Wish the colour had been purple or red didnt want that sickly colour  

Hope you like your new phone the one you won that was last time til tonight i managed not to get kicked out grr

Hi @Poppysmum so pleased to hear that you did so well and great I could help! I thought the Samsung galaxy A50 was very nice. I went in today and decided to go for the A70 just setting up tonight it will take a while to get used to it and sort through and get my emails on etc. I wanted a bigger screen the A50 & A70 are basically the same. No cases in stock yet must have one for it. Noticed that O2 are now offering the A70 too. I will post my thoughts and experiences on there later. Also I will be posting here on what it was like for me to clean my Microsoft Lumia 640! Before handing it over to Samsung. I think you will like the A50 very much. Bye for now TallTrees.

@TallTreesI will swop my stuff from my A5 2017 to my new A50 using Smart Switch app @MI5 helped me a couple years ago using it.

I can see @MI5  i dont need his help with my new phone .

I normally find something i get stuck with.

Will be a couple days before i try and write a review on here.

Enjoy your A70 it does look a nice phone
