I have been looking at the Samsung A50 or A70

I would most appreciate advice on how best to

clean my phone which is  an Android Lumia 640 ready to hand in for exchange to Samsung.

I have removed all photos.

I have removed all contacts

I have removed all my email accounts

Any other advice would be most welcome too.

I think that the sim I have is larger than required for the Samsung phone

Maybe O2 shop could assist there?

There is an O2 Shop and a Samsung Store near to each other in Town.

Thanking you TallTrees

There is a reset option in settings which will wipe your phone of anything and everything and if you need a smaller SIM card, the shop will do that transfer while you wait

That sounds perfect ~ I was hoping the shop could get the phone up and running quickly for me.

Thank you very much @MI5

@TallTrees

It doesn’t matter if the sim is in or out and obviously you won’t be able to use the phone once reset anyway.

ok ~ so all this work needs to be carried out just before I pop down and exchange it.

I take out my sim and my sd card (which is extra) and hand it over to Samsung.

Thanks for the info ~ not obvious to me as not done before @MI5
