I've had my Nokia Lumia 800 for just over a year now and have never needed the use of MMS until recently. I have tried having the settings sent to my phone via O2's webpage which sends the settings, asks for a passcode which I enter correctly and then I get a message saying 'Couldn't change phone settings - Your phone's settings could not be changed'. I am just trying to figure out if I can actually send picture messages or not with the Nokia Lumia 800. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You should have Network Setup in your apps. Choose the relevant option from that.

You may need to contact o2 on 202 contract or 4445 payg to have your account provisioned for mms.
Also check your apn settings.

You do need to have data turned on in your phone to receive and send mms messages.
