Bought Alcatel Second Hand, Need To Unlock

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently bought an Alcatel Pixi and it is locked onto o2. I have a BT pay monthly sim and I need to unlock it but I can't do it on here because I don't have an o2 account. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hi @Anonymous

I presume it will require a call to customer services and a fee to unlock..http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Yes, you will need a PAYG SIM on Classic pay as you go and top up £20.

Use the phone on O2 for a couple of days and ensure you have £15 of credit left to pay for the unlock code.

Or..... Find someone on pay monthly to put their sim in and make a few calls. They can then go online and request the code for free.... Not that I've done such a thing is the past slight_smile
